  • Dancers ages 10 and up are eligible to join our Intensive Training Program with permission from the Artistic Director.

  • Summer Session July 8th, 2019-August 3rd, 2019

  • Fall Session September 11th, 2019-December 21st, 2019

  • Winter Session January 6th, 2020-March 14th, 2020

  • Spring Session March 23rd, 2020 - May 30th, 2020

Boys and Girls Classes

Boys and Girls Creative Movement I & II, ages 3-4(1 day a week for 30 Minutes)

Our Creative Movement classes are introductory dance classes for our youngest students. These classes bring children into a child-centered environment for movement. Children in these classes are introduced to basic movement concepts and how to orient themselves in a dance class. They also participate in self-generated movement as well as beginning to learn basic ballet vocabulary.

Dress Code for Creative Movement:

Girls: Pink tights, pink leotard, pink ballet shoes (optional detachable pink skirt). Hair should be put into a neat bun. If hair is too short to put up, it should be clipped and pulled back away from the face.

Boys: Black tights, black or white shoes, white socks, white tank shirt, dancebelt - for boys ages 9 and older.

  • Wednesday 5:00-5:30 pm, Bexley Creative Movement I

  • Saturday

    9:30-10:00 am, Bexley Creative Movement II

Tuition  $550 annually with payment options per quarter/month.

Boys and Girls Pre-Ballet, ages 5-6 (1 day a week for 1 hour)

As it sequences out of Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet retains the developmental aspect of self-generated movement and the use of imagination to learn basic dance concepts. This course also moves past the Creative Movement curriculum to initiate fundamental ballet principals. Basic positions and facings are introduced from a movement-based perspective. 

Dress Code for Pre-Ballet:

Girls: Black tank or camisole leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be put into a neat bun. If hair is too short to put up, it should be clipped and pulled back away from the face.

Boys: Black tights, black or white shoes, white socks, white tank shirt, dancebelt - for boys ages 9 and older.

  • Thursday 4:30-5:30 pm, Bexley

  • Saturday 11:15-12:15 pm, Bexley

Tuition $800 annually with payment options per quarter/month.

Teen/Adult INTRO TO BALLET, AGES 6-8(1 DAY A WEEK FOR 1 HOUR)

Our  Intro to Ballet class is a welcoming, encouraging environment centered around teaching basic classical positions and musicality to our youngest dancers with no previous experience.  The students will develop technique and grace while progressing at a steady pace over the session.

Dress Code for Into to Ballet:

Girls: Black tank or camisole leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be put into a neat bun. If hair is too short to put up, it should be clipped and pulled back away from the face.

Boys: Black tights, black or white shoes, white socks, white tank shirt, dancebelt - for boys ages 9 and older.

  • Monday 4:15-5:30 pm

Tuition $800 annually with payment options per quarter/month. Drop in and class cards are also available.

Ballet I, ages 6-8 (2 days per week for 1 hour and 15 minutes) 

Ballet I begins the ballet sequence of the curriculum. Basic barre work, proper placement, ballet etiquette, center combinations of allegro (jumping) patterns and simple series of patterned steps and vocabulary are introduced. 

Dress Code for Ballet: Black tank or camisole leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be put into a neat bun. If hair is too short to put up, it should be clipped and pulled back away from the face.

Boys: Black tights, black or white shoes, white socks, white tank shirt, dancebelt - for boys ages 9 and older.

  • Tuesday 4:15-5:30 pm, Bexley

  • Saturday 10:00-11:15 am, Bexley

Tuition $1,475 annually with payment options per quarter/month.

Dance II, ages 7-9  (2 days per week for 2 hours )

Dance II begins to mirror the training principals of the Intensive Training Program by focusing on broader ballet vocabulary while also introducing students to work in other dance forms (Jazz Dance). Dance II can serve as an entry level class for the School if a student has prior dance experience or is older than the recommended age for the course. 

Dress Code for Ballet: Black tank or camisole leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair should be put into a neat bun. If hair is too short to put up, it should be clipped and pulled back away from the face.

Boys: Black tights, black or white shoes, white socks, white tank shirt, dancebelt - for boys ages 9 and older.

Dress Code for Jazz: Black or colored leotard, footless black tights, leggings, or jazz pants, black jazz shoes, black jazz shorts (optional)

  • Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm, Bexley

Tuition $1,775 annually with payment options per quarter/month.
