Our School
The School of Columbus Dance Theatre serves a wide range of students, ages 3-24, and takes pride in offering a personalized approach to classical ballet training. This method ensures that each student's unique talents and potential are nurtured effectively. The curriculum includes a Young Children’s Division aimed at helping younger dancers develop a strong foundation in movement and ballet principles through engaging and age-appropriate classes.
As students progress through the School, they have the opportunity to participate in the Intensive Training Program, which introduces them to various styles of concert dance. This program is designed to challenge and inspire students as they advance in their training, allowing them to explore different forms of dance while honing their technical skills. The gradual introduction to multiple dance styles prepares students for diverse dance experiences, equipping them with the versatility needed in the ever-evolving world of dance.
