Columbus Dance Theatre presents
Dancers Making Dances: Words We Cannot Say
October 10–12, 2025
Columbus Dance Theatre (CDT) is seeking visual artists and emerging musicians to collaborate on our upcoming production Dancers Making Dances: Words We Cannot Say—a powerful weekend of performance exploring socially relevant themes through movement, sound, and visual art.
This unique opportunity invites creatives to submit work that will inspire CDT choreographers as they develop original dance works. Selected visual art will also be featured in CDT’s on-site gallery, and all chosen collaborators will be credited and promoted across our platforms.
Opportunities for Artists & Musicians:
Your work will be featured on CDT’s social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X).
Visual art will be displayed and available for sale during the performance weekend.
You’ll receive free admission to all shows, plus 1 complimentary guest ticket.
A small honorarium will be provided.
2024: Live painting during our performances by local visual artist, Mack Paints

October 11 at 7:30PM
October 12 at 3:00PM

How to Submit:
Please email info@columbusdancetheatre.com with either a single piece or a portfolio of your work by August 17, 2025.
