Dancers Making Dances pairs Columbus based visual artists with CDT company dancers to create original works inspired by visual art. This season’s production deepens the program’s impact with a specific focus on socially important themes. The much-anticipated conclusion of CDT’s Experiment trilogy premieres this February. Directed by CDT’s artistic duo Seth Wilson and Jaime Kotrba, this work fuses contemporary ballet with multidimensional media, featuring returning visual artist Tod Seitz and the return of Carpe Diem String Quartet to play an original score by Korine Fujiwara debuted with company in 2019. Audiences will be immersed in a striking fusion of movement, projection, live music and psychological imagery, a thrilling finale to the company's most ambitious series yet. -
