Hayden Johnson began her formal dance training at the age of six with Columbus Dance Theatre, where she quickly developed a strong foundation in classical ballet and contemporary technique. At age nine, she was accepted into the company’s Intensive Training Program, a rigorous pre-professional track designed to prepare young dancers for a career in the performing arts. Hayden completed the program in 2023, demonstrating exceptional dedication, artistry, and technical ability throughout her training.
Now entering her fourth season with Columbus Dance Theatre, Hayden is thrilled to return as a Company Dancer. Over the years, she has performed numerous mainstage productions with the company. One of her most memorable roles to date was portraying the theatrical Princess in the company’s yearly production of Wonderment.
In addition to her year-round training, Hayden broadened her artistic experience by attending prestigious summer intensives with Nashville Ballet and Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, where she studied under renowned faculty and explored a wide range of repertory and choreographic styles.
