Outside of dance, what are your hobbies?

Outside of dance my main hobbies are cycling and pickleball.

What brand of ballet/pointe shoes do you wear?

I wear capezios exclusively for shoes (goated).

What is one thing you wish you were better at?

One thing I wish I was better at is remembering combinations at barre.

Thomas McGuire

Thomas McGuire began dancing with Columbus Dance Theatre at the age of 2, and joined the Intensive Training Program at the age of 8. Thomas continued all through high school, performing with the company and school as a trainee during his senior year. After taking a year off for college and realizing how much he missed Columbus, he returned for the 2023-24 season as an Apprentice.

One of Thomas’ favorite roles was the White Rabbit in Columbus Dance Theatre’s original production of “Alice” with the school in 2021. Some of his recent recent roles include Prince Ivan in CDT’s Firebird in 2024, and d’Artagnan in CDT’s 2024/25 season-closing show, Three Musketeers.

Thomas is excited to return for the 2025/26 Season!
